About

Hi, I’m Gabrielle, the heart (and hands) behind The Wholeistic Doula — where modern motherhood meets ancient wisdom.

For over a decade, I cared for families as a professional nanny, supporting newborns, toddlers, and tired parents through every messy, magical season of early parenthood. Those years taught me one big truth: families don’t just need help — they need support. The kind that nourishes your body, your mind, and your spirit.

That’s what led me to become an Ayurvedic birth and postpartum doula, blending my background in childcare with a deep passion for restorative postpartum care. I started by getting my Master of Science degree in Integrative Medicine and Ayurveda and from there went on to complete trainings in birth and Ayurvedic postpartum work. I then created Nurturing New Beginnings as a loving roadmap for new parents and doulas — complete with Ayurvedic healing meals, gentle guidance on rest and recovery, and emotional support that honors the sacred transition into parenthood.

Think of me as your calm, nurturing friend who happens to know exactly how to support your recovery — whether it’s soothing herbs for your digestion, rituals for rest, guiding you through those tough moments in labor or a listening ear when you’re figuring it all out at 2 AM.

My approach is evidence-based, heart-led, and rooted in the belief that birth and postpartum aren’t things to “get through” — it’s something to be deeply cared for.

So if you’re an expecting parent who wants more than just survival mode…

If you’re craving warmth, humor, balance, and a little Ayurvedic magic in your fourth trimester…

You’re in the right place.

Welcome to The Wholeistic Doula — where you’ll feel supported through and through, nourished through every season, and reminded that you were never meant to do this alone.
